Nancy's Quilts

Win One of Three Beautiful Quilts

Nancy Skavish, a beloved founding member of St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church in Franklin Park, passed away almost a year ago, leaving three beautiful but unfinished quilts.  These one-of-a-kind, handmade coverlets have been completed and given to St. Brendan’s to raise funds for the parish.

For only $2 or 3 for $5, a person can buy a chance to win one of the quilts, each of which will be a lasting symbol of Nancy’s artistry and craftwork.  The colorful coverlets will be on display for the next few months not only at St. Brendan’s but also at outside venues such as quilt shows, festivals and possibly the diocesan convention.

A drawing will be held for each quilt on January 21, 2018, during the St. Brendan’s Speaker Series, when guest

Clarice Sabina will discuss “The Importance of Your Quilt.”

Winners need not be present.
