St. Brendan, for whom our church is named, was a mariner. And for mariners, the ship’s log represents a vital record of each voyage, recording key landmarks, daily sailing conditions and the captain's observations along the way. Until the advent of GPS, it was also an essential tool for successful navigation -- that is, for keeping the ship on course.
In a similar way, The Navigator’s Log provides our members and friends with weekly announcements about upcoming liturgies, ministry opportunities and special events, as well as brief pastoral reflections by our clergy and other parish leaders. Additional routine items include reports on monthly meetings of the Vestry and reports on the success of recent fundraisers.
